A Teacher at Heart
From a family of Opticians, Optometrists and Ophthalmologists, Mr. Ali Khan (CEO and founder of AOE), graduated in the first cohort of the Optician course at Ryerson University and was hired by Ryerson to upgrade and re-write the optician courses to higher standards. For over 50 years, he has dedicated his life to the elevation of education for all eye health learners. For years, Mr. Khan and the AOE team have been fundraising and creating innovative ways to bring high caliber education to students at no charge.

AOE offers completely free access to our hundreds of hours of optometry and opticianry courses. Access can be arranged through your school of Optometry in Canada / US or opticianry in Canada. Have them contact us at support@aoece.com

Why not spend a Sunday with us and take on a topic like the pros! Students are eligible for completely free access to our monthly themed webinars. Pick a webinar where you like the topic and email us at info@aoece.com to register.
FREE access to all Conferences and Trade Shows

Fundraising and Financial Support

Graduates enjoy 1 year FREE video On-Demand
Getting started is hard, especially with student debt. We try to lessen that load a bit by offering a full year of AOE On-Demand, our 24/7 video lectures. These lectures are accredited by NACOR and COO in Canada for Opticians and COPE for Optometry in North America. This allows you to save some money while completing your College/Board requirements.
