Ted Beaton

Ted Beaton is a graduate of Georgian college where he received the honour of Class Valedictorian for Health Sciences in 1991. He has been an optician in Ontario since 1992. He is the past Chairman of the Georgian College Advisory Committee for Opticianry and remains on the committee, presently sitting as Deputy Chair. In his more than 20 year optical career his experience includes: front line dispenser, wholesale lens sales and business development, a retail district manager for chains, and an ophthalmic frame and accessories representative. Recently he returned to Essilor to join the Group Labs Representative team. As a retail district manager he was often called to train and coach sales and dispensing staff on selling and dispensing techniques. As a lab and lens representative, he has developed and delivered several accredited lectures for Opticians in Ontario and Nova Scotia.
