Sondra Black

Dr. Sondra Black graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 1980. She practiced optometry for 20 years in a private practice. She then joined TLC as a clinical director for the TLC Custom LASIK center in Toronto. In 2003. Dr. Black became the Clinical Director for TLC Toronto. In 2009, Dr. Black left TLC to become the VP-Clinical Operations for Crystal Clear Vision. She left practice in November 2017 to focus exclusively on consulting both to industry and individual practices. Her expertise lies in cataract, refractive surgery, patient management and counselling and now works full-time for Johnson & Johnson Vision as the Head of Professional Strategy Surgical Americas.
