I direct the Adaptive Ventures Lab. We research a key element of entrepreneurial psychology and management: decision-making under risk. Who takes risks, what kinds, and under what conditions? A second line of research explores links between elements of competition and well-being: who is sensitive to social comparison? I teach undergraduate, graduate, and executive/MBA classes that integrate management and psychology (negotiation, decision-making, leadership, organizational behavior), as well as quantitative methods and statistics. I consult on psychological measurement and statistical analysis supporting organizational decision-making. I also give applied workshops in negotiation, statistical data analysis, and managerial decision-making.
