Murray Hurlbert

Dr. Murray Hurlbert graduated from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry in 1995 and in 1997 he went on to join Maple Ridge Eye Care Optometrists in British Columbia and assumed ownership of the practice shortly thereafter. Dr. Hurlbert attended the Omni Eye Center in Atlanta where he worked alongside cataract, glaucoma and retinal surgeons in the treatment of advanced eye disease. Subsequently, he was certified by the American Board of Examiners in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. He previously worked on the B.C. Association of Optometry Public Relations Committee and was elected to the board of the College of Optometrists of B.C. serving for close to four years.
