Michael Kaplan

Dr. Kaplan has a Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. He is a tenured dry eye specialist with over 12 years' experience as an Optometric Consultant. He continually provides education to Canadian ODs through workshops and speaking engagement on a wide variety of topics. He is also the Director of specialty services at FYI Doctors. This role includes overseeing ocular surface disease, Myopia management, Vision therapy and emerging innovations. In 2019 he added the Systane iLux as a treatment option in the dry eye arm of his practice. Leveraging his tenured experience, he now takes great pride in working with Optometric clinics to help them find solutions to case-specific practice challenges.
