Dr. Luigi Bilotto is an international optometric consultant and key opinion leader in eye health development, academia and public health. With several appointments at institutions around the world and active in global strategic groups such as the World Council of Optometry (WCO) and the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), he specializes in human capacity building systems and education strategies that aim to deliver optometric services in the emergent context, promote eye health and eradicate avoidable visual impairment. He currently practices in private clinics, services the aboriginal population of Northern Quebec via the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay and is a clinical supervisor at l ’Ecole d’optométrie de l’université de Montréal, where he also holds a role as International Eye Health
