Dr. Kristine Kerestan Garbig received her Doctor of Optometry Degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She then went on to become a Graduate of Minor Surgical Procedures for the Optometric Physician and Laser Therapy for the Anterior Segment from Northeastern State University College of Optometry. Dr. Kerestan Garbig is currently a Doctor of Optometry and Partner at Garbig Family Eye Care in Wilder, Kentucky where she provides optometric care specializing in the vision care of children. As well as being a frequent speaker and educator of eye care professionals at the state, regional and national levels, Dr. Kerestan Garbig's career long passion and dedication is to the vision of children and young adults with an emphasis in the diagnosis and treatment of specific learning-related vision problems. She is also an experienced provider of comprehensive therapeutic optometric care including the diagnosis and treatment of all refractive conditions as well as dry eye, red eye, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes and age-related macular degeneration.
