Brad Genereux

Dr. Brad Genereux graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry with his Doctorate of Optometry, along with earning both a Bachelor’s of Visual Science and Bachelor’s of Science prior. After finishing his degree he went on to complete a residency in Ocular Disease associated with the Ohio State University. Afterwards he continued to work in a tertiary care ophthalmology setting for many years focusing on anterior segment, vitreoretinal disease, and neuro-ophthalmology clinics. He is a passionate researcher and has been involved in numerous studies for novel treatments of eye diseases, including being a primary investigator. As well, he has multiple publications in areas of ocular disease. As he continues to further his education, he also continues to be active in research as well as lecturing locally, nationally, and internationally on topics of ocular disease. Dr. Genereux also performs the role of a Quality Assurance Assessor for the College of Optometry. In recognition of his care and contribution to the profession Dr. Genereux was named the Young Optometrist of the Year by the British Columbia Association of Optometrists in 2019.
