OD, Ocular Health Certificate

Dr. Mehdi, optometrist (OD), obtained her Doctorate in Optometry from the Université de Montréal in 2004, then in 2010 she became a clinical lecturer at the school of optometry of the same university. Dr. Mehdi, O.D. practiced optometry in Montreal for seven years before joining the team at the Institut de l’oeil des Laurentides (IOL) where, in 2011, she completed her residency in ocular health and diseases. Her work in the field of ocular health at IOL has been focused on intraocular surgeries evaluation and management, including cataracts, clear lens extraction and phakic IOL. With the collaboration of the school of optometry, Dr. Mehdi presented lectures in the field of ocular health and intraocular evaluation for the scholars of continuing education.
