Arthur B. Epstein, OD, FAAO is a native New Yorker who graduated from the State University of New York, State College of Optometry. After relocating to Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Epstein co-founded Phoenix Eye Care, PLLC and The Dry Eye Center of Arizona, PLLC and serves as the Director of Cornea - External Disease, Clinical Research and The Dry Eye & Ocular Surface Disease Center. He also heads Ophthalmic Research Consultants of Arizona. Dr. Epstein is a highly regarded educator and popular speaker. He has presented in excess of 1150 invited lectures throughout the world and is a prolific author with hundreds of articles, scientific papers and book chapters published. Dr. Epstein is a reviewer for numerous clinical and scientific journals including Cornea, the American, British and Indian Journals of Ophthalmology and is an Editorial Board member of Eye & Contact Lens. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a Distinguished Practitioner of the National Academies of Practice, past-Chair of the American Optometric Association Contact Lens and Cornea Section and admitted to the American Board of Certification in Medical Optometry. A Contributing Editor for Review of Optometry and Executive Editor of Review of Cornea and Contact Lenses he founded, and serves as Chief Medical Editor of Optometric Physician�, the first and most widely read E-Journal in eye care.
