Andrew Mitchell is a Computer Science Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Computing and Software at McMaster University. Andrew is a Graduate Trainee with the sMAP CREATE program, an NSERC-funded multi-disciplinary and multi-university research program focusing on smart technology solutions to mobility challenges faced by the aging population. His primary areas of interest are human pose estimation and the application of deep learning to solve real-world problems.
